I have been attending Mandy's class for many months now. Her style of teaching encourages the relaxation I need, especially at that time of day. The energy and calm I feel after class is wonderful and more importantly I have noticed that my flexibility has greatly improved. In the beginning I was able to reach just below my knees and now I'm almost able to touch my ankles. This will help eliminate lower back pain. One of my favorite things about the class is that she gives alternate positions so everyone can participate. Each class is different which keeps it interesting. It is definitely a "no judgement" class. When I am not able to go I feel as if my week was not complete. I really look forward to class and am thankful for Mandy and her dedication to teaching us at the level we are able to do. I love all the things I have learned from her about yoga and am definitely “hooked”. ~Tammy S.
Mandy is one of my favorite yoga teachers because she makes me feel at ease in her class. I have MS and it is difficult for me to do a lot of the exercises. Mandy is always there to help and modify the exercise, so even I can do it. She truly cares about each of her students. That is why I keep going to yoga class even on the days I feel like staying in bed! ~Ed G.
I LOVE Mandy’s classes! I am always running and when I'm in her class its time just for me and I get to slow down for a little while. I also like her class because she takes the time to explain poses and how they affect your body. Most of all she makes me feel welcome and makes me laugh! ~ Marcia S.
I am getting RAVE reviews on your influence in our memory care unit. ~ Peggy G. Activities Director at Church of Christ Assisted Living
Mandy is wonderful Yoga teacher. The senior residents tell me the yoga class is calm & relaxing. She gives special attention to each resident, and takes time to explain the movements. Mandy is very good with our residents in the memory unit also. I have seen residents that don’t move or do much engage with her. She also puts a smile on their faces each time she comes. Everyone looks forward to her coming back each month. ~ Gretchen, Activities Director at Sunrise Assisted Living
